GEICO
Highest per-lead payout among the major carriers, but access is inconsistent
Overview
GEICO is the second-largest US private passenger auto insurer and pays at the top of the per-lead range for the category. The trade-off is access: GEICO has historically not run a conventional open affiliate programme for content publishers, and access routes vary by campaign and by intermediary. Publishers who do get in report the highest lead values in the category, particularly for multi-vehicle and homeowner households.
Strengths
- Top of the per-lead range for the category
- Extremely strong brand recognition lifts click-through
- Homeowner and multi-vehicle leads price highest
Trade-offs
- No consistent open programme for small publishers
- Cookie duration varies by campaign
- Strict creative and marketing guidelines

How to apply for the commission
- Start with the official affiliate page. If it has no open application, do not fake one - go through a network that syndicates GEICO offers.
- Prepare a media kit: sessions, audience geography (US share matters most), and sample pages.
- State your traffic channels. PPC and social are commonly permitted; brand bidding is not.
- Expect a manual review and a compliance check on how you describe coverage.
- Add the tracking link to /go/ in the admin panel once approved.
- Minimum payout is $100, paid Net 30.
Access is the real barrier, not the rate. Budget time for this one and keep a network route open as a fallback. If a third party offers you "GEICO affiliate access" for an upfront fee, treat it as a red flag.
Traffic restrictions
Brand bidding prohibited. Marketing guidelines govern all creative. Some states restrict rate-focused claims.
