Sobre nosotros

InsureLend Compare publishes calculators and plain-language research about insurance and lending. We are not a broker, an insurer, a lender or a financial adviser, and we do not sell financial products.

Why this site exists

Most comparison pages are optimised for the click, not for the decision. They rank companies by what the company pays, and they do not say so. Our position is that the commission structure should be visible, because a reader who knows how a site earns money can judge the ranking properly.

That is why every company page on this site states the commission model, the published rate range, the cookie window and the payment terms — the same data we use internally when deciding what to write about.

How the calculators work

Each calculator is either exact arithmetic or an explicitly labelled estimate:

  • Amortisation, payoff and break-even calculators use the standard financial formulas. The formula is shown on the page so you can check it.
  • Insurance estimators start from published industry average premiums and apply the rating factors carriers actually use — state, age, record, coverage level, credit band. They are directional. They are not quotes, and no insurer has reviewed them.

We do not accept payment to change a calculator result, and no company can pay to be excluded or included in an estimator.

Where the data comes from

Commission figures come from publicly published affiliate programme pages and independent programme comparisons, each linked on the relevant company page along with the date we last checked it. Where public sources disagree, we widen the range and say so rather than picking the flattering number. If we cannot verify a figure, the entry says "varies by programme" instead of guessing.

Corrections

If you believe a figure on this site is wrong, tell us and we will re-check it against the source. Corrections are published with a visible update date.
